At over 16,000 square feet, ENGCOMP is Strata’s largest design-build project in Saskatoon. We worked closely with the client to deliver just what he was looking for, from the ground up.
Project Details
The ENGCOMP office development at 2422 Schuyler Street is another of Strata’s design-build construction management projects. The building stands out in the neighbourhood as an impressive single-story, single-sloped, pre-engineered steel structure, finished with acrylic stucco, brick veneer, and an LVL-framed front build-out that features corrugated galvalume siding and a rough-sawn pine canopy. One of ENGCOMP’s most unique elements is the ‘plaza’ which features a grand entrance, reception, multiple seating areas, and a coffee bar. The double-height space boasts corrugated galvalume ceilings, exposed structural steel elements, and a towering brick wall behind an ambitious custom reception desk. The majority of the building’s 16,140 square feet are comprised of office pods: eight separate bays each have a number of private offices centered on large and open collaborative areas for use by ENGCOMP’s project-teams of engineers.
