Ryde YXE

Strata was thrilled to work with Saskatoon’s first cycle studio to open their doors. This creative take on group fitness was located in the heart of the Broadway community. Loud music and a disco ball are not always the main themes when designing our interiors.

Project Details

Ryde YXE is an indoor cycling studio located in Nutana at 705 Broadway Avenue. After completely renovating the base building, Strata was a great fit for Ryde to execute this exciting design-build project. The 1,769 square foot space includes a reception and waiting area, three large washrooms equipped with three showers, and a generous gym capable of housing over thirty stationary bikes. A built-up, gently sloped tile shower floor was used to create a seamless transition in flooring in the shower rooms and eliminate the use of standard acrylic shower basins. The most unique feature of the space are the floors, as it was decided the original concrete slab should be flaunted by polishing and sealing the existing concrete to an eye-catching salt and pepper finish.
