Broadway Obstetrics & Gynecology

We removed walls and drywall ceilings to reveal beautiful concrete structure columns and beams, as well as hidden windows which we incorporated into the new design. The reception desk is custom designed using a combination of laminate and quartz on the countertops for three receptionists to work at. Lighting is a combination of lay-in troffer task lighting in exam rooms, with specialty pendants above the reception desk. Strata created a staff room, which doubles as a boardroom, that includes millwork with open floating shelves and a colourful tile backsplash. An office space was created for the doctors in the back along the windows facing Broadway in a bench style counter with partitions to create the sense of personal space, but be open for collaboration. Each exam room has a feature wall colour with lots of bright natural light coming in from the top section of the windows that isn't covered by privacy window film.
